About The Roaster

They say the best things come in small packages. Truer words have never been spoken than when talking about Tiny Arms Coffee.

Based in Lowell, Massachusetts, Tiny Arms is most easily identifiable by their T-Rex mascot and accompanying ceramic offerings. What started in 2021 as a passion project has now turned into quite the operation. Chief Roaster Jon Santos has a decade of experience in the coffee industry, a fact that’s evident in the fun flavors he’s able to roast and develop.

Contrary to many traditional coffee processes, Tiny Arms focuses heavily on sustainable practices. They specifically chose the farmers they work with (that’s one of the reasons we love working with Counter Culture Coffee, too!), find suppliers they trust, and employ an efficient roasting machine. Take their switch from coffee boxes to bags; agonizing over compostable options before settling on a plastic, recyclable, bag that will ultimately have a greater impact.

The Coffee

Tiny Arms primarily roasts single origin coffee, with a smaller focus group on blends. While blends create a more consistent and balanced profile, single origins typically offer a more exotic flavor. We’re not here to tell you that one is better than the other, so check out below what we brought in this month, and keep an eye out for special tastings in our shops to try them for yourself!
